The Galvanized two story
structure was the original Ice House. Saw
dust
with chunks of ice from a near
by pond that they used to store
their food and provide refrigeration
for the local neighbors.
The white block structure
was added later to
be
used as a miniature horse barn in the later 1900’s.
After Construction was completed May 2002

Before starting the project with piles of lumber outside -
trying to beat the winter weather to get inside ASAP. Nov. 2001.

On a warm day - we started putting holes in the walls to install patio doors and attic vents.
